Drew Parker

EMT-P, NCSO

Founder & President

With over 40 years of experience as a paramedic in both municipal and industrial settings, Drew has dedicated his life to supporting those in need. Recognizing the vital importance of patient advocacy, he has spent years assisting friends and family in navigating the complex healthcare system.

Witnessing firsthand how large organizations, Workers' Compensation Boards (WCB), and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) often struggle to achieve optimal outcomes, he saw a pressing need for dedicated advocacy services. His personal journey over the past four years—representing a family member battling cancer—further highlighted the challenges many face in accessing quality primary care.

These experiences motivated him to establish Alberta Tru Care, focusing on being "Healthcare Advocate Professionals." The small but dedicated team combines over 120 years of healthcare experience. They are committed to improving patient outcomes by providing personalized support and guidance through every step of the healthcare process.

Outside of his professional commitments, he is a proud father of three and grandfather of five. An avid horse enthusiast, fly fisher, and skier, he also believes in giving back to the community through volunteer work. His passion for helping others continues to drive Alberta Tru Care's mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve.
